So it was great to be on the move again…Millstream Chichester NP…we were meant to stay 2 nights but it was freezing and blew a gale so we packed up after 1 night and headed to Karijini. Was an interesting old homestead there, but the walks were closed due to cyclone damage!

Then on to Karijini NP…stayed at Dales Campground. Found after about 350km of corrugated road that the water pump on the camper trailer had died – so it was 5 nights of boiling the saucepan and filling a bucket, taking it inside and having a pommy wash! And also broke a rear spring on the Ranger! (More money! – thankfully warranty covered this one!) We were pretty grubby and sweaty after some of the class 5 walks through the gorges! Temps at night were 7-8 degrees – ouch!!!! A highlight one night was an astronomy night with Phil Witt which was amazing – 3 big telescopes and a very passionate man!
